Jeden z ciekawszych albumów/projektów Daft Punk, którego wielkim, o ile nie największym atutem jest to, że nie brzmi jak Daft Punk!
Po uznanym debiucie, fenomenalnym "Discovery" oraz doskonale przyjętym "Alive 1997", Daft Punk stworzyli muzykę do filmu "Tron: Legacy". Fani najprawdopodobniej zacierali ręce na kolejną, muzyczną potańcówkę w klimatach house, ale tym razem musieli jednak obejść się smakiem.
Film być może nie okazał się tak przełomowy i idealny (delikatnie mówiąc), jak jego pierwsza część z 1983 roku, ale muzyka już tak. Zresztą obraz w reżyserii Josepha Kosinskiego, już chyba dawno został zapomniany, a o soundtracku mówi się do dziś! Oczywiście nie mamy tutaj imprezy, laserów i tańca. Mamy monumentalną, bardzo obrazową i mocno przestrzenną muzykę. Francuzi wręcz otaczają nas dźwiękiem, tworząc tym samym niesamowity klimat.
Uważam, że "Tron" Legacy" niestety zamyka ten bardziej ambitny okres twórczości Daft Punk, ale za to w bardzo podniosłym stylu. Tak jak wspomniałem na początku, to co dla wielu było minusem, dla mnie jest tym, co czyni ten album wyjątkowym w całej dyskografii Daft Punk. Brawo!
