    70 lat, z czego aż pół wieku na scenie. Charyzma, niepowtarzalny, znany wszystkim głos i nieodłączne ciemne okulary. Krzysztof Cugowski – prawdziwy gigant polskiej sceny muzycznej, jeden z tych, którzy stworzyli rocka nad Wisłą, współtwórca Budki Suflera – obchodzi swój podwójny jubileusz. Z tej okazji prezentuje dwupłytowy album „50/70. Moje najważniejsze” – muzyczne credo, zbiór ulubionych piosenek śpiewanych przez pięć dekad muzycznej kariery. Jak sam wspomina: „Z przeżytych 70 lat, 50 spędziłem bliżej lub dalej sceny. Nagrałem kilkadziesiąt płyt lepszych i gorszych. Grałem z niezliczoną rzeszą muzyków lepszych i gorszych. Ale... nie żałuję niczego (…). Jestem spełnionym człowiekiem i artystą…”.

    Pierwsza płyta zawiera 14 utworów w nowych aranżacjach – te, które Krzysztof Cugowski ukochał szczególnie, które najmocniej zapadły mu w serce. To piękne piosenki, które zaśpiewane ponownie po latach nabrały nowych znaczeń i barw.
    Druga płyta to zapis koncertu Krzysztofa Cugowskiego z Zespołem Mistrzów, który odbył się w 2018 roku w Radiu Lublin.
