Secrets (1976) to album autorstwa uznanego klawiszowca Herbie Hancocka. Tak jak poprzednim albumie zatytułowanym Man-Child , na Secrets pojawia się basista Paul Jackson oraz Bennie Maupin. Ekstrawagancki wkład gitary rytmicznej czołowego muzyka sesyjnego Wah Wah Watsona, jest kolejną godną uwagi cechą albumu.

Tam, gdzie Man-Child był równomiernie podzielony między utwory o szybkim i wolniejszym tempie, Secrets podkreśla łagodniejszy i spokojniejszy nastrój. Nawet szybsze utwory, „Doin 'It” i „Cantaloupe Island”, są przesiąknięte odprężającym klimatem, a krążek zmierza raczej w kierunku powściągliwych, toczących się groove'ów, aniżeli zbyt energicznego funku.
