Dla wielu fanów jazzu Kenny G jest muzycznym nieporozumieniem i czymś w rodzaju "Disco Polo". Dla kobiet i fanów szeroko rozumianej muzyki pop Kenny jest ikoną. Jego twórczość nie miała nigdy na celu tworzenia ikonicznych albumów, czy przekraczaniu "muzycznych barier". Kiedyś z ciekawości wniknąłem w jego dyskografię i rozumiem zarówno jedną jak i drugą stronę... Nie była to wymagająca muzyka, takie "pościelówy" z saksofonem. Najbardziej chyba zapamiętałem "The Moment" oraz "Duotones" i tyle. Teraz po sześciu latach (chyba) otrzymujemy jego nowy album, który zawiera premierowe numery inspirowane balladami jazzowymi z lat 50 i 60. Kenny starał się odtworzyć brzmienie płyt z tego okresu oraz oddać klimat nagrań artystów, które ukształtowały go jako muzyka. Dla fanów jest to pozycja obowiązkowa oraz potwierdzenie wielkiego talentu tego artysty, dla hejterów wiadomo...
