Jako 19-osobowa formacja big bandu, New Cool Collective pracował nad wieloma różnymi projektami, takimi jak coroczne otwarcie amsterdamskiej wytwórni Uitmarkt, płyta Guusa Meeuwisa Hollandse Meesters, a także szereg innych albumów. Teraz powrócili z nowym albumem nagranym wraz z senegalskim saksofonistą Thierno Koité z Orchestra Baobab / Le Sahel.

Podczas trasy koncertowej i sesji nagraniowej w Senegalu w 2013 r. New Cool Collective spotkał się z Thierno Koité po koncercie Baobab Orchestra. New Cool od dawna jest fanem charakterystycznego stylu Thierno.

Muzycy wymienili numery telefonów, a w 2016 roku spotkali się by zacząć wspólnie pracować nad muzyką. Łącząc siły, znaleźli fundusze na zorganizowanie trzech koncertów i sesji nagraniowej z Thierno w Holandii, w wyniku czego powstał kompletny album.

Pierwsze 750 egzemplarzy są indywidualnie numerowane i wytłoczone na kolorowym winylu.
