Legendarny duet powraca z pierwszym od 2018 roku albumem - nagranym w studiu Orbital w Brighton, "Optical Delusion" z udziałem świetnych gości (m.in Sleaford Mods, Penelope Isles, Anna B Savage, The Little Pest, Dina Ipavic, Coppe i …The Medieval Baebes). Tytuł płyty nawiązuje do słów Alberta Einsteina i doskonale pasuje do krążka, na którym bracia Hartnollowie zagłębiają się w niespokojną psychikę naszego coraz bardziej surrealistycznego i nieuporządkowanego świata. Album wskrzesza emocje z lat, gdy dorastający bracia żyli historiami science fiction, lecz jest tu i miejsce na echa folkowe i eteryczne kosmiczne pejzaże. Sporo na tej płycie także innych śladów przeszłości: singiel 'Dirty Rat', deklamacja w stylu „The Fall-Meets-Front-242" z wokalem Jasona Williamsona ze Sleaford Mods przypomina anarcho-punk’owe inspiracje Hartnollsów. Jednak Orbital nigdy nie odchodzą daleko od parkietu - nie brakuje tu więc także hipnotycznych, rytmicznych kompozycji i klubowych bangerów. Artwork płyty stworzył malarz John Greenwood, twórca fantastycznych grotesek na okładkach 'Snivilisation' i ‚In Sides'
