Film Stephena Elliota z 1994 roku The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert opowiada o dwóch drag queens i transpłciowej kobiecie, które podróżują po australijskiej prowincji autobusem wycieczkowym o nazwie „Priscilla”. Ścieżka dźwiękowa to zbiór popularnych piosenek muzyki pop związanych ze społecznością LGBT. Cztery z tych piosenek zostały wykonane przez drag queens w filmie, a mianowicie „I'm Never Been to Me” Charlene, „I Will Survive” Glorii Gaynor, „Finally” CeCe Peniston i „Mamma Mia” ABBA . Film jest przezabawny, a ścieżka dźwiękowa dodaje mu uroku.
