Z biegiem lat czasu na surfowanie było coraz mniej, pojawiła się bowiem prestiżowa nominacja do BBC Sound Poll, zaproszenia na wspólne tournee od Imagine Dragons I Nothing But Thieves. “Blood Rush Deja Vu”, drugi album w dorobku zespołu, pokazuje bardziej dojrzałą i mroczną stronę Sunset Sons.
